As we get closer to the new year, it may be a good point to have a life changing plan for a better life quality

From the enclosed long list of 50 life changing headings, I picked up 12 of them and commented along with my own collected knowledge during my wellness journey.

1.Stop depending on caffeine

Normally we are supposed to enter in a stress moment ( Fight and Flight Mode) based on our emotions originating from the deliveries of the moment.

External stimulants like caffeine puts extra burden on our body and halts our rejuvenation process. We need to reduce all these stress moments as much as possible.

Therefore Caffeine/Coffee should be introduced our life as extra boost when it is needed, maybe once a day with some cacao butter or coconut butter to avoid the peak effect of the caffeine.

2. Pray or meditate morning, mid-day, and night

Praying and meditating takes us to lower brain frequencies, where we are more creative and peaceful, meaning we are far away of the stress and rejuvenation of the body is taking place.

The aim should be all the time being meditative , however it may be impossible in today’s modern world. To increase this type peaceful moments in our life will make a big change on our life quality.

4.Write in your journal 5 minutes per day

Having a start and ending reflection of the day can stop we become a revolving door and loose the control of our life.

Writing down what are the days expected priorities and low hanging fruits. Also closing the day what was the take away of the day , the extra ordinary moments to be appreciated may warm ourselves and keep on the right track.

7. Stop consuming refined sugar

Sugar, as it is in nature is valuable part of our diet, like eating fruits or vegetables as a whole in this way nurture our body regarding our sugar intake.

When we are into refined sugar and different versions of processed sugar such as Fruit Juices, Bread, Pasta ,Cakes etc. We are into poisoning ourselves and will experience the side effects of it as chronic disease sometime in the future. Not mentioning the immediate effects to our mood and mental activity.

14. Get 7+ hours of sleep each night

Sleep is where we get most rejuvenation effect. A deep sleep is most anti-aging, wellbeing medicine.

We should keep ourselves free from Computer/Tablet /Phone activities one hour before the bed time.

You may use Melatonin, Lavender oil, Valerian etc. for easing up your falling into sleep.

16. Say “No” to people, obligations, requests, and opportunities you’re not interested in from now on

We all need to live a life which is aligned with our dream about ourselves or purpose we attach to ourselves.

That is why it is important to have boundaries to keep you in track. Of course there will be situations where we need to bend our boundaries, however we should do this in peace. This type of bending shouldn’t be done with anger and hate. It should be in line with accepting the situation as it is and based on a conscious decision.

22. Remove all non-essentials from your life (start with your closet)

All the items we collect on our journey needs attention from us and creates a burden on us. Becoming a minimalist and living with essentials release a big part of our energy/resources and lead us to a better living.

23. Replaces Carbs With Healthy Fats

Carbs especially fast carbs, such as pasta, bread etc. should be considered as refined sugar and eliminated from our diet. Healthy Fats much better source of qualified energy and not harming at all.

36. Define what wealth and happiness mean to you

Our Life Quality is very often aligned with how we define wealth and happiness.

Be careful if your happiness based on moments, it should be the whole journey rather than few milestones.

Importance of wealth should be kept in its limits, we should not over strive for more than enough.

41. Track at least one habit/behavior you’re trying to improve

Life is a chain of habits, making a list or a map of our habits and focus on the one who could be improved or changed.

Take one of those habits to be worked on at a time and rewire our brains to a healthier version of it will lead to a better experience with higher life quality.

49. Eat at least one meal with your family per day

Among those who live more than 100 years has a common behavior. They do socialize and spend time together with family and friends.

Surround yourself with good friends and keep your family gathered as much as possible for a healthy long life.

50. Spend time reflecting on your blessings at least once per day

If we don’t recognize all regular small goodies in our life, we will be waiting for miracles which doesn’t happen that often.

Gratitude, appreciate what we already have will pave the way for a happy life!
